Back

Sara Elizabeth Goetzinger ‘21 is a Meteorology major, minoring in Mathematics, from Fairfax, Virginia. She is the daughter of Jennifer and Steve Goetzinger.

Sara is a member of Squadron 11 and currently serves as the First Wing Commander. She has previously served as First Wing Sergeant Major and was also a member of the Nichols’ Rising Leaders Conference Staff. Off the Quad, Sara has been involved with the Eucharistic Ministry at St. Mary’s Catholic Center.

Sara encourages future and current cadets to take advantage of each opportunity to develop themselves, serve the community, and enjoy the company of those around them during their time on the Quad.

“Every day on the Quad is a blessing and the memories I have made here are ones I will cherish forever,” Sara said. “I truly believe that the Corps of Cadets changes lives and I would not be the person I am today without this organization.”

After graduation in December 2021, Sara will commission into the U.S. Air Force with hopes of becoming a Weather Officer. She will also marry her fiancé, Kyle Holman, Third Regiment Commander, in June 2021. We are very proud of Sara and are thankful for her dedication to the Corps. We are confident that she will continue to succeed in all of her future endeavors.
