The Corps of Cadets Athletic Training Room is staffed by three full-time certified and licensed Athletic Trainers, and a rotation of Master of Science in Athletic Training Students every semester. Services, free of charge, include:
- Evaluation of all musculoskeletal injuries and illnesses
- Immediate care and treatment of injuries
- Rehabilitation and reconditioning of musculoskeletal injuries and illnesses
- Manual therapy and treatment include Gameready, Dry Needling, Normatec, IASTM (muscle scraping), cupping, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, ice and heat.
- Referral to specialists as warranted
If you are needing to schedule an appointment for an injury evaluation or treatment, click here. You can also schedule by email, phone, or in person. Walk-in’s for treatment and evaluations are welcome as scheduling permits. Rehabilitation sessions are by appointment only.
Other services include assistance in exercise program design and any insights needed regarding nutrition and active health. Through our electronic medical record keeping system, Healthy Roster, we communicate, as needed, to leadership regarding the health and wellness of all ailments to cadets. Additionally, we provide supplemental care to cadets being actively seen by physical therapists and sports medicine physicians.
