Back

Sean Close ’20 is an Industrial Distribution major from Stafford, Virginia and is the son of David and Cathy Close. Sean is a member of Company C-2 and has been an outstanding cadet in the Corps.

Sean has been an active member of the Corps from the moment he stepped on the Quad as a fish. He has served as the Company N-1 Public Relations Corporal, the Company N-1 Training Corporal, as a member of the Corps Color Guard, the 2nd Regiment Training, Operations, and Logistics Sergeant, and the C-2 Operations and Logistics Sergeant. As a senior, he currently serves as the C-2 Operations and Logistics Officer. In addition to service, Sean has been a teammate and team captain of the Corps Lacrosse Team all 4 years in the Corps. Off the Quad, Sean has been involved with Student Bonfire and Sophomore Leaders Impacting, Developing, and Educating (SLIDE).

Sean plans to graduate in May of 2021 and hopes to pursue a career with a three letter agency, such as the FBI, CIA, or DEA. He also has interests in joining a company like Exxon where he can use his degree in Industrial Engineering and learn about the oil and gas industry. Sean has been a superb cadet in the Corps and is destined for great success in the future. We wish him nothing but success in all of his future endeavors!
