Back

Ryan Mitchell is a Political Science major with a minor in Military Studies from Hampden, Pennsylvania. He is the son of Douglas and Pamela Mitchell.

Ryan served as a Fire Team Leader in Squadron 17 his sophomore year. He is currently serving as Company D-2’s Training Officer, Army ROTC Company Executive Officer, and as a Ross Volunteer Meatball Platoon Squad Leader.

Off the Quad, Ryan has been involved in Outdoor Leadership Training, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Club, and served as a Fish Camp Counselor as well as a KANM Student Radio DJ.

Upon graduation, Ryan will commission as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army. His future plans also include traveling the world, participating in climbing, skydiving, and backpacking while practicing photography and writing. Ryan has learned an incredible amount in his time at Texas A&M, and has worked hard to experience as much as he can during his years as a cadet. He is well poised to go on to future success in the US Army, and will make us proud in all that he does!
