Mr. F. Boyd Cherry ’67 received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a MBA in Computing Science from Texas A&M. He was a member of Company C-2 and H-2, a Ross Volunteer, on the Student Engineers’ Council, and editor of the Texas A&M Engineer Magazine. A distinguished military graduate, he served as a 1st Lieutenant, U. S. Army ordnance from 1970-72. He worked for 30+ years in the natural gas industry in Houston with positions in engineering, corporate finance, investor relations, and head of the company’s first affiliate gas marketing unit. Cherry served on his homeowners association board and was a precinct election judge. Retired to Bryan in 2007, he and his wife, Zou, volunteer for numerous community and A&M organizations. He is a Heritage and Legacy Society member of the Texas A&M Foundation, life member of the RV Association, and currently serves on the board of trustees of the 12th Man Foundation.
