Back

Mariana Pedroza ‘20 is a Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering Technology major, with a minor in Engineering Project Management, from San Antonio, Texas. She is the daughter of Graciela and Federico Pedroza. Mariana is a member of A Battery in the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band, serving as a trumpet player and bugle rank member.

A first-generation Aggie, Mariana has served the Corps of Cadets in several different capacities. She previously held the position of a Fire Team Leader and Platoon Sergeant, and currently serves as the 3rd Platoon Leader. She is also a staff member for the Nichols Rising Leaders Conference, a leadership conference conducted each year for Corps sophomores. Outside of the Corps, Mariana is an officer in the American Society of Mechanical Engineers-Tech, an organization where students learn more about the Engineering field and work with fellow engineers on projects to develop innovative technologies.

Mariana plans to gain experience through internships before obtaining her bachelor’s degree in May of 2021, then intends to attend graduate school and obtain a Masters Degree. Throughout her time in the Corps of Cadets, Mariana has exemplified the very best that we expect of our cadets. We are proud of her and wish her the very best of luck in the future!
