Kyle Gustafson ‘19

July 23, 2021 by amy.thompson

Back

Kyle Gustafson ‘19 is an Industrial Engineering major born in Alexandria, Virginia but now calls Gilbert, Arizona home. He is the son of David and Jennifer Gustafson.

Kyle is a member of Squadron 21 and currently serves as the Cadet Wing Commander for Texas A&M’s Air Force Detachment 805.  He has served as a Platoon Leader in Sq-21, Assistant Squad Leader in the Ross Volunteer Company, and Guidon Bearer and 1stWing Sergeant Major. Additionally, he’s raced for the A&M Cycling Team, attended a Corps excursion to England and France, and is a Distinguished Graduate of Air Force Field Training. He is also a solo glider pilot. Kyle is looking forward to representing the Corps at the Air Force Academy for the National Character and Leadership Symposium (NCLS) in February.

In addition to his achievements and experiences within the Corps of Cadets, Kyle has wonderful career aspirations as well. He has a lifelong dream to fly fighters in the Air Force – hopefully the F-35 – and is looking forward to a career in the military. Kyle will surely make the Aggies proud in each of his future endeavors. We wish him nothing but the very best!
