Jack Brown, a successful businessman and WWII veteran was principal and founding partner of Midland-based Wagner and Brown, LTD, an independent oil and gas company.
In 1943, Brown entered the United States Army, serving in WWII, and was among the first occupation troops in Japan.
Mr. and Mrs. Brown have been supporters of many Texas A&M endeavors, to include the Center for Presidential Studies, the Bush School and Bush Presidential Library, and established the Jack and Frances Brown Chair in the College of Engineering.
