Jack D. Anderson ’19

July 23, 2021 by amy.thompson

Back

Jack D. Anderson ‘19 is a Biomedical Science major from Kingwood, TX. He is the son of Dan and Darice Anderson.

Jack is a member of Squadron 1, “Huslin’1,” and currently serves as the Operations and Logistics officer. His junior year, Jack served as the Operations and Logistics sergeant, and as an Operations and Logistics corporal his sophomore year.

The summer after his junior year, he completed an internship in Veterinary Medicine at a clinic in Humble, Texas. This practical experience he gained was an opportunity that he recommends for anyone interested in Veterinary Medicine.

Jack is actively involved in fund raising events for our military veterans like the annual “Running with Roy” 5K Run. Additionally, he participates in The Big Event every year to benefit local residents in the community. He volunteers every year at the Association of Former Students Distinguished Alumni Gala to greet and serve Aggie Alumni.

Jack will graduate in May 2019 and plans to attend Veterinary Medical School with a focus on small animals. After Veterinary School, Jack wants to open his own clinic in rural Texas. Jack is a determined cadet and we know he will make us proud in all of his future endeavors!
