Back

David A. Clenance ‘18 is an Allied Health-Nursing major from Fairfax, Virginia. He is the son of David and Margot Clenance.

David serves as a Platoon Leader in Squadron 8. He is also the Squad Leader for the Army Ranger Challenge Team and is the Cadet Executive Officer for the Texas A&M Army ROTC Battalion.  Currently, David is the only cadet at Texas A&M to have received the prestigious Recondo Badge at Army ROTC Advanced Camp.  David is an Army ROTC Distinguished Military Graduate and is contracted to go into the Aviation Branch of the United States Army upon graduation.

Upon graduation, David aspires to fly MedEvac helicopters in the Army, then move to the Army Reserves and fly for hospitals and assist humanitarian efforts in hard to reach areas.

David is currently engaged to be married to his fiancé, Rebekah M. Vinal ‘17 of Houston.

David is an outstanding cadet with a bright future.  He has put in many hours of hard work to achieve success and I know he will continue to set the standard in all that he does. He is going to continue to make us all proud in all of his future endeavors. Best wishes to David and his fiancé, Rebekah, as they prepare for a new life in the United States Army.
