July 23, 2021 by amy.thompson

Back

Daniel Wintill ’20 is a Structural Engineering major with a minor in Engineering Project Management from Springfield, Virginia. He is the son of Greg and Erin Wintill.

Daniel is a member of Squadron 12 where he is Commanding Officer and a former 1st Sergeant. Aside from his cadet duties, he is a student worker for the Corps of Cadets Association. Off the Quad, Daniel is a Breakaway Volunteer, a member of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) as well as American Society of Civil Engineers, and has previously served as Treasurer for Engineers Without Borders.

Daniel will be graduating in May of 2021 and will commission into the United States Air Force as a Civil Engineer with the hopes to work for a RED-HORSE squadron. After his time in service, Daniel would like to start his own construction company to build custom homes, old home remodels, and general construction contracting work. In August, he will marry his fiancée, Haley Zimmerman!

Daniel has been an incredible cadet to the Corps and we are fully confident in the success of his future! Good luck and Gig ’em, Daniel!
