Back

Allie Rios ’19 was born in Landstuhl, Germany. Her parents, Colonel Willie Rios III, and Annie Castellano-Rios are currently stationed in Fort Hood, TX. Allie is majoring in International Studies and minoring in Russian. This past summer she studied abroad in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan as part of the Army’s Project Global Officer.

Allie’s was a member of Company A-1 her freshman and sophomore year, where she was the guidon bearer sophomore year.  She was the Second Brigade Sergeant Major her junior year and is currently the Second Brigade Commander.  Allie was a member of the Army ROTC Ranger Challenge team her freshman and sophomore year and competed in the regional competition in Fort Knox, Kentucky twice.  She also competed in two international Ranger Challenge competitions located in West Point, NY and Santiago, Chile. She earned her Rudder’s pin with Rudder’s Rangers her junior year. Off the quad, Allie is a member of Omega Phi Alpha, a community service sorority. Her involvement in this organization outside the Corps and ROTC represents her values in staying well rounded during her college experience and serving her community.

Upon graduation in May, Allie will fulfil her lifelong dream of commissioning into the United States Army and hopes to become a Quartermaster officer. She looks forward to following into her father’s footsteps and serving her country.  We are proud of Allie’s accomplishments and know she will experience great success in the future.
