First Day of Fall Orientation Week
August 12, 2023 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Alphabetical check-in by last name at Duncan Dining Hall; A-K 8:00 am -10:30 am; L-Z 10:30 am -1:00pm.
Parents will park in lot 40. Upon entering the lot, parents will be directed where to park within the lot.
Once parked, you will be met by cadet guides who will assist with unloading heavy suitcases, footlockers and heavy tote bags. These cadet guides will have a list of each freshman and their outfit assignments, and will label all large items as such. These items will be moved with assistance from our cadet guides. Any smaller items will be moved by freshmen and their families after check-in.
Unless your student is under 18, you won’t be able to accompany them during the checkout process. There will be a parent/family reception hosted by the Corps of Cadets Association for you to attend in Duncan while your student completes check-in.
After check-in is complete, you will be able to accompany your cadet to their dorm room to move in any remaining items. You are also encouraged to attend parent meetings with this year’s Corps Commander, Caitlynn Walsh ‘24, and your student’s outfit leadership. Parents and families will leave the Quad at 5 pm on August 9 and 12.
