Ty Crawford ‘18

Ty Crawford ‘18 is a geography major from Argyle, TX. He is the son of Lance and Kim Crawford and a Platoon Leader for Company C-2.

Ty served as the Chaplain for Company C-2 his junior year and is currently the Tree Platoon Leader for the Ross Volunteer Company. Ty also visited China in May of 2017 on a Corps Excursion.

Off the Quad, Ty is a member of the Texas A&M Maroon Coats with the Texas A&M Foundation. He has been both a Fish Camp and Impact counselor and is a member of the Brotherhood of Christian Aggies. Ty was a delegate in the 2016 Abbott Family Leadership Conference and has served as an Aggie Muster Host. He also traveled to Kenya in May of 2016 and ran the 2017 Houston Marathon and 2018 Austin Marathon.

Ty will graduate and commission in May as a Marine Corps Officer. He hopes to become a pilot in the Marine Corps and aspires to fly for an air ambulance service later in life. Ty is a hard working cadet who has excelled in all that he has done in college. He is intelligent, engaged, and has a love of service that will take him far in the years to come. We wish Ty well as he prepares to commission in the United States Marine Corps! Semper Fi, Ty!
