Tanner Cedrone ’21 is the son of Amy and Tony Cedrone. Born in Dallas, Texas, and now residing in Lewisville, Texas, he is currently pursuing his undergraduate degree in political science with a minor in history. Upon graduation, Tanner will commission into the United States Air Force and attend pilot training shortly thereafter.
Tanner was originally a member of the Squadron 21 Hellcats, served as the First Regiment Sergeant Major his junior year, and is the Corps Commander for the 2020-2021 school year. He is also a second year Ross Volunteer, and was the Executive Officer of the Cultural Awareness and Diversity Expansion Team his freshman and sophomore year.
Outside of Texas A&M, Tanner has worked and led in youth ministry for the past eight years through Bent Tree Bible Fellowship in Carrollton, Texas. His faith has launched him into a passionate life of service, mentorship, and constant learning. Tanner lives by Romans 5:3-5 philosophy, which states, “Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.”
Tanner strives to build on these foundations of leadership to, first, challenge himself to be the best man he can be, and to second, challenge other people to become the pinnacle versions of themselves. Apart from his current duties, he enjoys working out, doing anything outside, and spending time with close friends either on the disc golf course, or on the rifle range.
We are proud of the way Tanner has honored his commitment and dedication to the Corps of Cadets, and have no doubt that he will succeed in his future endeavors! We wish him nothing but success and the best of luck in the future!
