Back

Sydney Anderson ‘18 is a civil engineering major from Yoder, Colorado.  She is the daughter of Angela Golding.

Sydney currently serves as the first sergeant of Parson’s Mounted Cavalry. She is a member of company D-1 and is a past member of SQ-11. She is an active participant of many events and programs within the Corps and traveled to South Africa last summer on a Corps of Cadets excursion.  Off the Quad, Sydney is involved in the American Society of Civil Engineers.

Sydney is the recipient of the Joyce & Don Dunlap ‘58 Scholarship and the Wilfred A. ‘29 and Tomye Hazel Fischer Scholarship — both scholarship awarded within the engineering department.

Upon graduation, Sydney plans to work for Kimley-Horn, a civil engineering consulting firm.  She has accepted a full-time job offer and is eager to start her journey as an industry professional.  Sydney is a hard-working cadet who is dedicated to the betterment of her University, the Corps and her future.  I know she will make us proud!
