What is Spend The Day with the Corps?

The Spend the Day with the Corps Program (SDWC) is an official campus visit to Texas A&M University offered each summer for rising high school juniors and seniors and their parents.  The activities throughout the day include:

  • An admissions application presentation with university admissions counselors
  • Scholarships and Financial Aid Presentation
  • Resource Tables with various departments around the campus during Check-In
  • Tours of our cadet dorms and facilities
  • Time with cadets, Corps staff, and ROTC representatives

Dates and Schedule

Our next Spend the Day with the Corps program will be on Friday, July 24, 2020.

The SDWC program is open to all students who will be juniors and seniors in high school the following school year and their families.  Approximately 500 students and family members participate in the Spend the Day with the Corps program each summer.  To ensure each student has access to the resources and tours, the Spend the Day with the Corps program does require pre-registration.

Check-in for the program will be located in the Sanders Corps of Cadets Center from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.  There will be resource tables and ROTC representatives for you to speak with along with tours of our dorms and facilities during this time.  The official program will begin promptly at 12 noon in Rudder Theater and will conclude at 5:00 p.m.

To register for SDWC, click on the button above and submit the online registration.  Once we have received your online registration form, your Spend the Day with the Corps confirmation packet will be emailed to you.
