Corps Marksmanship

Rapidly growing as the nation’s premier collegiate shooting team, the Corps of Cadets Marksmanship Unit competes state-wide and nationally in a variety of shooting sports, including 3-Gun, Scholastic Pistol, Trap & Skeet and Practical Shooting. In 2013-2014, CCMU shooters took 3 of the top 15 spots out of 100 participants in the 13th annual Pecos Run n’ Gun, a 7.5 mile 6 stage competition. The CCMU took First in both the Collegiate Centerfire and Rimfire divisions at the Second annual SPP Southwest Winter Regionals. The CCMU Trap and Skeet Team took 3rd out of 38 teams at the Wounded Warriors Fundraiser Shoot. The CCMU Centerfire Team won the SPP National Championship at the SPP Nationals in Ft. Benning, GA while the Rimfire squad took 2nd place in their division. The CCMU took 3rd in their second appearance at the Joint Service Academy Combat Weapons Match in Springfield, Massachusetts.
