Last Friday the Class of ‘23 Fish Drill Team (FDT) received their highly coveted FDT cords.  The cord ceremony, which normally takes place during Family Weekend in April, was rescheduled to this fall due to COVID-19. In order for a member of the team to receive a cord, they must compete at the annual Tulane Mardi Gras drill meet and remain on the team until the end of the school year. The cord symbolizes a freshman’s hard work and dedication to perfecting their drill proficiency, and the loyalty and passion they have for the team. The Class of 2023—National Champions at the 2020 Tulane Drill Meet—is more than deserving of the recognition they achieved during their time as members of the Fish Drill Team. We are truly proud of our National Champion Class of ’23 Fish Drill Team! Congratulations to all of them! The recipients honored are:
