Emily Earnshaw ’13 is a History major with minors in Classical Studies and English from Frisco, Texas and is the daughter of David and Carole Earnshaw. She is a member of B-Battery in the Aggie Band, as a four-year piccolo player.

Active within the Corps, Emily served as the B-Battery First Sergeant in her junior year and the Executive Officer her senior year. She served on the Nichol’s Rising Leaders Staff her junior and senior years and received her Academic Certificate in Leadership Studies last month.

Outside the Corps, Emily was in the Cornerstone Program Learning Community her freshman year and has been on two international field trips to Prague, Czech Republic and St. Petersburg, Russia. She has been invited to be inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society – an academic honor society with the mission of fostering and recognizing excellence in undergraduate liberal arts and sciences – as a graduating senior.

Emily will graduate with honors this week and will next attend Texas Women’s University to earn a Master’s of Library Science with aspirations to become a services librarian for a medium to large public library or branch.

We are very proud of Emily for her commitment to the Corps and the Aggie Band while maintaining her high GPR and graduating with honors. Emily is an exceptional student and will no doubt continue to excel in her studies and her career goals. Well done, Emily!
