Back

Deziree “Dez” Dickey ‘21 is majoring in University Studies Leadership, with a Minor in Youth Development and Sports Management. She is from San Antonio, Texas and is the daughter of Don and Belinda Dickey.

Dez is a member of Squadron 11, where she has served as a Fire Team Leader, First Sergeant, and now serves as the Commanding Officer. She is also a student worker at one of our Corps Leadership Learning Centers. Dez is also involved in Philadelphia Sisters, where she serves as the Selections and Prayer Committee Chair. She also devotes her time connecting incoming freshmen to local churches as a counselor and co-chair for the Texas A&M Impact Retreat. During the summer, Dez works as a counselor at the T Bar M Ranch in New Braunfels, a Christian summer camp for teenagers. In addition to her involvement in a variety of organizations on campus, Dez is currently pursuing an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification, while also accumulating flight hours as a pilot, hoping to become a pilot in the United States Air Force.

Dez will graduate in December of 2021 and commission as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Air Force.  She plans to work as an EMT while waiting to start flight school. We are all very proud of Dez and her dedication to suceed in all that she does. We are confident that she will continue to set the standard in all that she does in the future. We wish Dez nothing but continued success in all of her future endeavors!
