Keller Cox ’21 is the son of Kristin and Robert Cox. He was born and raised in Houston, Texas, and he is currently pursuing his undergraduate degree in Construction Science with a minor in Business.
Keller is originally a member of Squadron 17 in the Corps, and has served Squadron 17 as a Songfest Chair and the Head Public Relations Officer. This last year, he served as a Junior Yell Leader and will serve Texas A&M as the Head Yell Leader for the 2020-2021 school year. Off the Quad, Keller has been a member of Fish Aides, the Aggie Muster Committee and the Aggie Men’s Club.
Outside of Texas A&M, Keller has worked as a camp counselor at a summer camp in Hot Springs, Arkansas called Brookhill Ranch. When he is not in the classroom or fulfilling his role as a Yell Leader, Keller loves picking up a guitar to write and sing Texas country music.
Since he arrived at Texas A&M as a fish in the Corps, Keller’s goal has been to make the most out of his time here and to leave Aggieland better than he found it. He is doing his best to stay positive during these challenging times and knows that the challenges he is facing now will prepare him to lead others well in the future – especially during difficult times.
Upon graduation, Keller will move to Austin, Texas to work in the commercial construction industry, and also hopes to break into the Austin music scene as a rising Texas country music artist. We are proud of Keller and thankful for all that he has done and continues to do as a member of the Corps of Cadets. We wish him nothing but success in all of his future endeavors.
