Emily How '19

Emily How ’19 is a Bioenvironmental Sciences major from Denton, Texas. She is the daughter of Paul and Rebecca How. She is a member of C-Company in the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band.

On the Quad, Emily is currently serving as the Public Relations and Recruiting Officer for Infantry band. She was the Nichols Rising Leaders Conference Chairperson this year, where she assisted the Commandant’s Staff in putting together a conference for 120 selected sophomore cadets. They spent several days exploring the challenge of how to “Inspire” others in a leadership position. This was a big undertaking and Emily worked hard to create a great conference for all cadets involved.

“My Corps experience has been fun and challenging,” Emily said.  “It has taught me skills that I can use in my personal and business life.”

Currently, her goals are to graduate from Texas A&M in August and find a job or internship in an agricultural or environmental lab.  Eventually, she would like to go to graduate school and earn a Master’s Degree in agriculture. We wish Emily nothing but success in all of her future endeavors!
