Kevin Le ’14

Kevin Le ’14 is a Mechanical Engineering Major from Katy, Texas. He is the son of Rose and Tuong Le and brother of Rachel Le. Kevin is serving as the 2nd Brigade Inspector General and Discipline Officer for the 2013-2014 School Year.

Active within the Corps, Kevin is originally from Company N-1 and served as Fire Team Leader his sophomore year. He was a member of the 2011 National Champion Fish Drill Team and a Signals Sergeant for the Corps Center Guard. He also received his Academic Certificate in Leadership Studies from the Hollingsworth Leadership Excellence Program this past weekend.

Outside the Corps, Kevin is involved with the Texas A&M Vietnamese American Student Association. He has completed summer internships at Weatherford International in Summer 2012 and Kalsi Engineering in Summer 2013, both located in Houston, Texas. The internships focused on learning and applying knowledge of oil and gas servicing and consulting, engineering design work and research and development testing.

Kevin will graduate in May 2015 and return to work with Kalsi Engineering while pursuing his Professional Engineer Certification.

Kevin has excelled during his time in the Corps and already has great leadership and practical work experience. His internships have enhanced his job knowledge and marketability, and his job with Kalsi Engineering is a great opportunity to start his career in the engineering field. I’m very proud of Kevin for his drive, determination and exceptional work ethic, and am certain that he will continue to excel throughout his life and professional endeavors. Kevin is an exemplary student, cadet, and leader, and will no doubt be one of our “ambassadors” that will represent all cadets well in his professional life upon graduation from Texas A&M.
