Hunter Skoog is a Biomedical Engineering Major from Longview, Texas and is the son of Eric and Sandra Skoog. Currently serving as a Senior Yell Leader, Hunter is responsible for representing Aggie traditions and athletics at all sporting events, Aggie Mothers’ Clubs, and many Texas A&M events such as Midnight Yell Practice.
Active within the Corps, Hunter, a member of Company E-1, is a member of the half section in Parsons Mounted Cavalry and has been inducted into the O.R. Simpson Honor Society.
Outside of the Corps, Hunter has been involved with Traditions Council – a committee of the Student Government Association that preserves and promotes the traditions of Texas A&M through education and awareness, the Biomedical Engineering Society and the American Medical Student Association.
Recently selected for the Who’s Who Among American Colleges and Universities at Texas A&M, Hunter is currently applying to medical schools around the state to fulfill his goal of becoming a doctor.
Hunter’s representation of both the Corps and the University in his role as a cadet and Yell Leader sets an example of what it means to be an Aggie. I have no doubt his determination and high standards will lead him to continued success in his graduate studies and into the medical profession.
