Chase Brooke ’14

Chase Brooke ’14 is a Spatial Science major with a minor in Forestry from Southlake, Texas. He is the son of Keri and Edward Brooke. Chase serves as the Commander of the Darling Recruiting Company (DRC) for the 2013 – 2014 school year.

Active within the Corps, Chase now serves on Corps staff but was originally from Company B-1. His duties are focused on promoting cadet involvement in Recruiting for the Corps of Cadets through campus events such as Spend the Night with the Corps, the Junior Cadet Accessions Program (JCAP), the Aggie Eagle Program, and various Junior ROTC competitions. Chase has been with the DRC since his freshman year and on the DRC staff since his sophomore year. He was also awarded the Corps Outstanding Recruiter Award in 2012. While in Company B-1, he served as the Recruiting Corporal/Sergeant.

Outside the Corps, Chase volunteers locally at A&M United Methodist Church, serving students through their college ministries. He is also an Eagle Scout.

After graduation in December 2014, Chase will begin a career as a production forester with the Weyerhaeuser Company – a diverse company involved in nearly every facet of the forest products industry, from growing and harvesting trees to producing products that are fundamental to human needs. He has worked with the company the past two summers in Natchitoches, Louisiana and Broken Bow, Oklahoma.

Chase has done a superb job of recruiting for our Corps throughout his time as a cadet and especially as Commander of the Darling Recruiting Company. His countless hours dedicated to growing and sustaining the Corps have been invaluable, and he certainly sets the bar high for those cadets who will follow in his footsteps. He is a very proud and honorable representative of our Corps, and he truly inspires young men and women to want to join the Corps. I’m very proud of Chase and all that he has done for help us meet our recruiting goals for the Corps over the past three years. I know he will go on to great success with the Weyerhaeuser Company, as he has the right drive, determination, and personality to succeed at whatever he chooses to do.
