Quad Assault Exercise

Awesome looking cadet with a gun
A "Quad Assault" exercise, conducted by members of  Rudder’s Rangers, a unit in the Corps of Cadets, was executed Monday, Sept. 5 at 6 p.m. along with members of the  Army  and Texas National Guard. The practical demonstration of light infantry and ranger tactics included the use of blank ammunition, simple pyrotechnics and military vehicles from the National Guard.  The exercise demonstrated the Army’s capabilities while giving students an idea of what joining the Rudder’s Rangers would entail. Members of Rudder’s Rangers participated in the mock exercise with an opposition force, continuing a yearly event that honors the memory of Gen. James Earl Rudder.
